Hello Jeri,
Several months ago you and I had a conversation, part of which concerned my daughter and her degree - business, accounting. She is back from her internship with a company in California which has offered her a job upon graduation (pretty good money!). I get the distinct feeling that she is open to other avenues and adventures. When you and I talked earlier in the year you showed considerable interest in her resume. I am just giving you a "heads up" that she is in the mood to look around and it could be an opportune time to contact her if you still have interest. If you want to talk more let me know.
Hello Jeri,
About a week and a half ago you invited me to call you to talk about opportunities or career options. I am now ready to take you up on your offer. Is there a better time to call you or best to make an appointment? Let me know potential time slots for you and I will reply. I am somewhat flexible most of this week.
Thanks,
Don

Hi Jeri,
Thank you for the information about Land O'Lakes. I'm looking forward to exploring the opportunities your company has to offer in the communcations/public relations field.
Thanks for the note and the information. I went ahead and uploaded my background information and applied for a few possible sales positions that fit with my skill set and prior experience. I look forward to finding out how I may be of service to Land O'Lakes in the coming weeks and months.
My laptop just went off to HP so I am unable to get to my files for at least a week. Bad news motherboard went out good news under warranty...so will take a look around as soon as I can, thanks.
Jeri, As I look around your web site I am more and more intrigued. I have to admit you have some of the most helpful personnel. I registered after you directed me to your site and have had different emails from your company with invites to call if I would like to discuss jobs or career opportunities or have questions. I will try to spend time on your site this weekend and look around more. If I have questions I may take you up on the offer to call you. Thanks for the information and direction.
Jeri,
I have a question/s: On your website there are a number of interesting positions that I could have interest in. What is the resulting effect if I applied to several different positions, some of them considerably different then the majority that I might apply to? Would you or any hiring authority take a harsh look at such actions?
Does it hurt my credibility if I would apply to "many" positions? Over a period of time - say a couple of months - do you - hiring authority - get tired of seeing my application - and just dump it in the trash?
Jeri, I hope you see that these are curiosity type of questions and not necessarily stemming from a real action scenario. I never had anyone in this type of forum where I could ask.
I know you are busy and I do really appreciate your time.
Thanks,
Don
Thanks Jeri! I took a look at the website. I am unable to relocate at this time and there aren't any openings in my area. I will continue to check back. I appreciate you passing it along to me.
