The American Ag Network of Fargo, North Dakota, is searching for a versatile Farm Broadcaster, preferably with solid broadcast experience and prior membership in the National Association of Farm Broadcasting.
The position requires the ability to assume full on-air responsibilities, production work and client relations when needed or assigned. You must be a people-oriented individual, willing to travel and act as a network liaison for key agricultural clients, organizations and events throughout the Northern Plains.
You will also be responsible for developing and implementing successful strategies to expand our network’s online presence through website content and outlets like Twitter, Facebook, and blogging. Prior knowledge in this field is preferable, but a willingness to learn - and lead - is a must.
The willing candidate must also be available to cover vacation and holiday shifts, and perform occasional weekend duties for our sister network organization - The Dakota News Network.
While challenging, this position truly provides the right individual an opportunity to grow and cultivate their talent in the field of farm broadcasting.
We are an equal opportunity employer. Interested applicants are encouraged to contact:
